Cathy Rollins
Autobiography
A unique combination of talents with a business background and Love of the Arts. Cathy worked for major corporations like Union Carbide and Hazel Bishop, Inc. before taking a ten-year hiatus to travel the world, living in Spain, England, and The Philippines, and having a family.
Returning to the business world, in 1982, she formed (and is the driving force of) Standing Room Only Productions, Inc, to which she utilizes her creative flair. Starting with comedy plays, SRO became a licensed Talent Agency producing and booking a variety of entertainment.
A specialty has become the Murder Mysteries, which Cathy writes. She’s created a standard collection of themes for parties, and several specialty scripts for major fundraisers presented at historical South Florida landmarks.
She starred in two original one-woman shows: “Love, Abigail” and “Happy Birthday, Marilyn” based on the
lives of Abigail Adams and Marilyn Monroe, written by James Kamins. She’s hosted her own TV and Radio shows. Cathy is a delightful vocalist-entertainer with her own act, when she’s not doing all the other things she loves to do..
She wrote and produced the “Carlucci-Cohen Comedy Wedding”, “Florida (USA) Follies”, “Three Girls From Italy” and others.
